Membership

1. Full Membership.

Full Membership is open to owners of Austin Healey Sprites, MG Midgets and their derivatives, along with those with an interest in these vehicles. Full members have voting rights. Full Members are eligible to apply for Concessional Queensland Registration for their vehicle.

2. Family Membership.

Family membership is open to partners of Full Members and their dependent children under 18 years of age. Family Members need not own or drive an Austin Healey Sprite, MG Midget, or their derivatives and do not have voting rights.

Family Members are eligible to hold a committee position except for the positions of President, Secretary or Treasurer.

Family Members are not required to pay annual membership fees and are not eligible to apply for Concessional Queensland Registration for their vehicle.

If a Family Member wishes to compete in racing, vote on club matters or apply for Concessional Qld Registration, they must join as a Full Member.

3. Life Membership.

Life Membership allows for Full Membership without the requirement of paying annual fees. Life membership shall be awarded to a member who has contributed extraordinary service to the Club. Nomination can be by any club member and approved by a majority vote of the Committee. Life Members have the same rights as Full Members.

Membership Fees

The Annual Membership Fee is $72. Fees are due in May each year and cover the year from May to the following April. Fees must be paid by 30 June in the year they are due for members to remain current.

The initial Joining Fee is $30 for a Couple or $15 for an Individual, plus the pro-rata of the Annual Membership Fee, depending on the month of joining, as set out below.

Joining Fees are only paid after the new member application has been approved. The Club Membership Manager will contact new members to arrange fee payment.

The Joining Fee includes up to two name badges. Additional or replacement name badges can be purchased for $25 each, including delivery.

Upon joining, the new member may opt to purchase the 'Club Starter Pack Special' for $52, which includes a club shirt and cap.

For example, a Couple joining in July would pay $90 to join, then $72 annualy there after, or an individual joining in December would pay $45 to join, then $72 annualy there after.
