Morning All, We have received an email from the South Australia Sprite Club about the National Challenge in 2026.

Please get your Expressions of Interest in asap so they can have accurate numbers so they can work out costs.

Greeting all It's Robin from the Sprite Club of SA. As you would all be aware, the Sprite Club of SA undertook to look at holding the National Challenge in 2026. As we are finding out its a considerable undertaking, particularly when you are also in full time work; however, we've pulled together a small organising committee of Club stalwarts and I'm pleased to be able to announce that we are going to move forward. Attached is an Expression of Interest that we would be grateful if you would forward to your members. The 2026 National Challenge will have a smattering of things that are familiar, some new and certainly some things that are a little different. We hope there is something for everyone! When? Monday 27 April to Friday 1 May (4 nights) Where? Murray Bridge, staying at the wonderful Bridgeport Hotel The program will be a mix of motorsport with a Sprint and (tarmac!!) Motokhana held at The Bend Motorsport Park and Social events, which include driving tours sampling some of the amazing food and wine, and history, of the region. We are also looking to hold a Display Day with, hopefully, a full concourse competition and judging, as well as traditional favourites such as an Observation Run (but perhaps not 180km this time...). For those looking for a real competition fix the Peter Hall Memorial will be held on the weekend of 2/3 May so an opportunity to compete on both The Bend and Mallala! The keen eyed or well informed amongst you will note that there is another Nationals planned to be run in South Australia at the same time. We will be collaborating for some events to create an incredible week of classic motoring cars in the region! We hope this piques the interest of Sprite and Midget owners from across Australia and you can come to a Festival of all things Sprite and Midget on the banks of the Murray River in 2026! Numbers are limited so please respond to the attached EOI at your earliest convenient to lock in your spot! Sue Stephenson has kindly volunteered to collate the EOI responses. Good morning All, Some excellent news! Attending a National Challenge is awesome, lots of fun, laughs and good times, so get yourselves organised and come with us to South Australia in 2026. All roads lead to South Australia!!! Our next Sprite National Meeting is now confirmed for April 27th to May 1st in 2026. Let's get a big group from Qld organised to attend this event. More info will be available very soon. That also means we will very probably become the organisers of the following Nationals in 2028. These Nationals are one of the highlights of Sprite Clubs life in Australia. Cheers from Alex.
